- I am a book nerd in a big way. I always have a book in my purse/diaper bag (I am so thankfull for my KOBO!) and usually a few for the kids as well.
- I always keep an audio book on my ipod so when I am driving/walking/eating lunch at work I can be reading too.
- When I was a kid I would read so much that at bedtime I had to have a 'reading time' built in so I didn't stay up too late.
- The first book I read on my own (and read for show and tell at school) was "Donald's Day in the Kitchen" - it was a Disney Rhyming Reader and I still have a special place in my heart for it.
- I have 175 books on my goodreads.com to read list
This week's question comes from Mina who blogs at Mina Burrows:
"If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?"
This might make me a nerd but I have always loved the Little House series and I'm pretty sure that is the series I would most like to "be in".

New follower from the hop! I also make sure I always have an audio book on my ipod. It's always good to be prepared :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
What a good choice for your book to be in! Love the Little House books and used to wish Pa was my dad! :) Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteJust swinging through on the blog hop. I enjoyed reading your answers to the #5 Things question. I hope you have a great weekend!

Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.
ReplyDeleteMy choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.
But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.
Happy Hop Friday!

I don't think I've ever listened to an audio book, hmmmm...... I might have to try it just to see how it goes lol But I have been interested in getting a Kobo but I haven't looked into it to much. What is your favorite thing about it? Least favorite?
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I loved the Little House books! I'd want to be in the Big Woods or Plum Creek where their life wasn't so hard.

I know! When I started listening to audiobooks I could get through books so quickly. It really helps when I'm feeling bogged down by really long books too. I have a Kobo too, and I really love it!
ReplyDeleteJust dropping by for the blog hop. I love the Little House series as well.
ReplyDeleteMy answer: I would love to be in Francine River's Redeeming Love. I wouldn't want to be the main character. Just a secondary character is gets to watch it all happen.
